REGULATORY STATUS
Cliveden Holding Limited (“Cliveden Holding”) is a company incorporated in the Dubai International Financial Centre (“DIFC”). Cliveden Holding is not authorised or regulated by the Dubai Financial Services Authority (“DFSA”) and does not provide regulated financial services.
Cliveden Holding intends to establish a separate entity, Cliveden Capital (“Cliveden Capital”), which is expected to seek authorisation from the DFSA to provide certain regulated financial services, including arranging and advising activities. Cliveden Capital is not currently authorised or regulated by the DFSA and will not provide any regulated financial services unless and until the relevant DFSA authorisation has been obtained.
Subject to obtaining the necessary DFSA authorisation, Cliveden Capital intends to provide its regulated financial services only to Professional Clients and Market Counterparties, as defined under the applicable DFSA Rules, and not to Retail Clients. The DFSA’s client classification framework distinguishes between Retail Clients, Professional Clients and Market Counterparties.
Any references on this website to Cliveden Capital, its proposed activities, potential clients or future services are provided solely for general information and should not be interpreted as indicating that DFSA authorisation has been granted or that any regulated financial services are currently available.
